“La Bonita de 1850” is a tapas & beer venue located in the centre of Albacete city, Spain. The sound installation was in charge of the audiovisual company Elemtec, specialized in sound and light.

Elemtec has rely once again on Lynx Pro Audio’s sound systems for this venue. Specifically, the QB series and BS series are the ideal solution for fixed installations like this one. Both of the series have cabinets with a discreet and elegant size and design.

Sound equipment installed: 4 BS-8 cabinets, 2 BS-112 subwoofers, 4 QB-5 compact cabinets and 2 SUB-08 subwoofers.

The BS series has been designed to offer an affordable yet reliable series of cabinets which not only deliver high performance but have a sleek & attractive design and finish so that they not only sound great but also look impressive in any install. 

The BS-8 cabinet is complement with the BS-112 subwoofer for the low frequencies reinforcement. This subwoofer offers high power handling and high sensitivity with low distortion and ultra low air noise. The cone is waterproof and rubber suspension has been treated on both sides and has been optimized for direct radiation subwoofer applications.

On the other hand, the QB series is the smallest series that Lynx Pro Audio offers, designed and intended for background sound reinforcement. The QB-5 is a two-way versatile, ultracompact light weight, passive cabinet offering high-performance for background sound applications whilst the SUB-08 subwoofer has been designed to be used with the QB-5 to extend the low frequency support.

ISE Amsterdam 2018 took place on 6-9 February and Lynx Pro Audio was there exhibiting a wide range of sound systems, including three new installation cabinets. This trade show has become the largest audiovisual meeting in Europe and one of the most important in the world, and we were able to meet a large number of professionals interested in getting to know our systems more closely.

Our booth was attended by Ben Sinclair (Sales Director) and Jesús Fuentes (product manager) who were able to show the complete solution package from Lynx Pro Audio. They also had the opportunity to present three new cabinets, the company’s newest options for install projects.

The new cabinets are a 5”, 6” and 8” all designed for install sound projects.  The HR series is being upgraded with two new models: HR-6 and HR-8. These are new compact cabinets with superior reliability and sonic performance designed for fixed installations. Both models are passive, two way, full range. The Ionic column speakers have now a new ultra compact 5” box named IONIC-5CX This box is designed to work with our subwoofer IONIC-12S. The cabinet includes a 5” coaxial speaker and can be powered from the subwoofer unit. We are really excited about these new models and are receiving the first orders now.

The presentation of these three models has been received very positively at ISE Amsterdam 2018 by all installers and we are already receiving the first orders from those who want innovation and quality in their audio products.

Lynx Pro Audio launches the new line array GXR-LA10A, presented at the ISE fair in Amsterdam. The GXR-LA10A is a compact powered line array with all the benefits of a first-class system. This new cabinet comes with two options available for the low frequencies, the units GXR-D15A and the GXR-D18S. This 3-cabinet combination offers a very practical system for install projects and live events.

 

The GXR-LA10A is a bi-amplified, two-way, class D enclosure that delivers high power levels from a very compact format offering two speakers of 10″ (2″coil). For the high frequencies it uses a 1.4″ output compression driver coupled to a waveguide offering 100 ° H x 10 ° V coverage. This cabinet offers a very easy to use rigging hardware, quick and reliable.

 

As a complement for sub bass reinforcement the new GXR system offers a powerful combination of subwoofers. The  GXR-D15A is equipped with two 15 “speakers and is as equally compact as the top unit. It is designed to be flown or stacked in perfect combination with the GXR-LA10A units. The second LF option is a double 18” named GXR-D18S specifically designed for floor installation, just to reinforce when extreme low frequencies are required.

 

This new line array system arrives to occupy a major place between the best options in the market. The key feature of this system is the incredible power/volume/weight ratio, offering all the benefits of a first class line array with a very compact size. The tops also offer a wide coverage in the horizontal plane and the complete system is very easy to use. This is a compact and practical line array, easy to use and install. The ideal sound tool for indoor projects and general outdoor events.
