L’Alqueria del Basket of the Valencia Basket Club

Next to the pavilion of the Fuente de San Luis, in Valencia (Spain), rises the biggest installation of Europe for a basketball youth team: “L’Alqueria del Basket”. This spectacular pavillion opened in 2016 by the champion of the last Endesa League and last Super Cup.

L’Alqueria del Basket is the work of the Valencian architecture studio ERRE Arquitectura. Its construction involved 230 workers and 45 companies, 90% of them Valencians. Lynx Pro Audio has been in charge of the sound reinforcement for the main court and both conference rooms, with CXA-12 and QB-5 respectevly.

L’Alqueria lodges 13 courts (9 covered and four outdoors), with a last generation parquet, three changing rooms per track, and all the complementary equipments for training 500 boys and girls and give support to professional teams, male and female, of the Valencia Basket Club.

Designed and equipped to perform elite training and play matches of training leagues. This track has a grandstand with a capacity for 250 spectators, with the possibility of extending it to 500. It is also prepared for people with reduced mobility.

L’Alqueria del Basket has eight indoor courts in addition to the main court, with a privileged view for 120 spectators, a scoreboard by track, state-of-the-art parquet and padded walls. Also it has two different meeting rooms equipped with WiFi, electronic screen, projector and whiteboard with a capacity of 30 people. One is named Miki Vukovic (a coach who managed to win the Copa del Rey in 1999) and the other is named with the date on which Valencia Basket won the Endesa League.

Good vibrations at the Lynx Technology & Speaker seminar held in Beijing (China)

On last October 20 Lynx Pro Audio’s distributor in China (Beijing Xiya Linke Trade Company) prepared the first “Lynx Technology & Speaker Audition” seminar in Beijing. Ben Sinclair (sales manager) and Jesus Fuentes (product manager) took a plane to China and gone to “the Northern capital” to be there with the guests and make the Lynx technical presentation.

Mr. Sun Penghui, General Manager of Xiya Linke, opened the speech introducing Lynx Pro Audio to the audience. Then Ben and Jesus explained in deph serie by serie giving complete technical details to all the industry experts who attended to this special seminar.

The Lynx Audition was divided in two parts (indoor + outdoor) so all the guests were able to appreciate the superior performance of the systems. LX series line array speakers, CXA series of constant curvature array, ADP active series and IONIC cylindrical array speakers were fully tested. From small install systems to big line arrays.

Lynx Pro Audio product line is very wide, including speakers, digital processors and power amplifiers. Every install project or mobile event has a Lynx solution. With this audition in Beijing XiYa Linke introduced the Lynx sound to many experts.

For the audition of the biggest system Xiya Linke prepared an outdoor space with a LX-V12 line array . This system was composed by eight LX-V12 (dual 12” three-way array speakers) and four LX-318C (three 18” cardioid subwoofer). V12 maximum sound pressure level up to 143dB, LX-318C built-in 4200W Class D power amplifier. Adequate power reserves ensure a very low sound distortion at high input and high damping. This line array meets the outdoor large-scale performances, stadiums, large disco halls and also indoor concerts.

XIYALINGKE is the Lynx Pro Audio distributor in China and between September 26th and 28th they were present at the first Chengdu International Music (Performing Arts) Facilities and Equipment Fair.

A complete range of Lynx Pro Audio products were on display at the CPAF in Chendu. XIYALINKE prepared more than 100 pieces of professional audio products for this exhibition and they are very excited about this expo. “LYNX is our company’s top Spanish audio products, including seven series of speakers, two series of digital processors and three series amplifier”. The company sent to the show an experienced technical service team to explain all the technical details to the professionals and introduce the Lynx Pro Audio products to the visitors.

The Ionic series is our answer for the light weight installation of column speakers in both mobile applications and fixed projects. These columns have a careful and studied design to be installed in any event that needs a discreet PA. The Ionic systems are self-powered, ie they avoid carrying external amplification racks. This integrated amplification also uses a digital signal processor that applies linear phase filters, in addition to many more control options. The amplification and control is done from the subwoofer, which is where the power modules and DSP are located.

The Ionic column systems have online control, so it is possible to control them via Ethernet and in real time.

Our ionic series consists of two full-range columns (ionic-100 and ionic-50) and two subwoofers (ionic-18S and ionic-12S).

The ionic-100 and ionic-50 columns are designed to offer the highest intelligibility in the reproduction of voices. They can also be driven from the ionic-18s and ionic-12s subwoofers offering an ideal self-powered system, perfect for both fixed installations and small scale live events.

Strandfieber Festival, an electro festival in Germany

The Strandfieber Festival a big electro festival held in Goldenstedt (Germany) organized by Multimedia M&E GmbH. For the summer 2017 edition, they mounted three stages using Lynx Pro Audio professional line array systems for festivals.

This festival takes places near a lake, with three different stages and numerous famous DJ’s. This idyllic place was transformed into a huge dancefloor. These are some of the DJ’s who mixed for this event: Bassjackers, DANNIC, EDX, Loudgarden, Vol2Cat, Mark Bale, Steve Norton, David Puentez, Housedestroyer, LOVRA, Chris Packer, Ron Rockwell and others.

Strandfieber Festival also offers spectacular lighting, sound and stage equipment. Modern technology and effects will turn the three stages into a sea of colors with a rich sound.

For the sound equipment, multiple line arrays LX-V12, LX-V8 and LX-F6 were flown among the three stages, making sure that the sound cover was accurate. These versatile line arrays have an exceptional power to size ratio and easy rigging options for the user.

All components are carefully selected to ensure maximum sound quality. Our transducers are made of neodymium with NOMEX cones and suspension. This means they are much lighter and have much greater longevity than a traditional speaker, achieving excellent transparency and constant sound clarity.
