Advancing Towards Sustainability: Our Photovoltaic Project

Advancing Towards Sustainability: Our Photovoltaic Project

At Lynx Pro Audio, as manufacturers of sound equipment, we understand the importance of innovating not only in audio technology but also in responsible environmental practices. Thanks to the European Union’s Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan, facilitated by the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE), we have taken a significant step towards a greener future with the installation of solar panels.

Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

For the past two years, our 16.6 kWp photovoltaic system has been operating efficiently. This transition to solar energy has allowed our daily operations to rely entirely on renewable energy, which not only reduces our carbon footprint but also makes us active producers of clean energy.

Key Benefits of the Photovoltaic Project

– Reduction of Carbon Footprint: We operate on solar energy, minimizing our dependence on fossil fuels.

– Renewable Energy Production: We generate our own energy, reinforcing our commitment to the environment.

– Alignment with International Standards: We comply with global energy efficiency requirements.

Impact of the NextGenerationEU Program Support

Our photovoltaic project is a key part of our long-term strategy. It not only aligns our infrastructure with international efficiency standards but also underscores our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility.

The support received through the NextGenerationEU program has been fundamental to the implementation of this project. This backing has not only strengthened our capacity for innovation but also enabled us to stay at the forefront of sustainable practices.

At Lynx Pro Audio, we remain determined to firmly advance our mission of environmental responsibility. We appreciate the support received and will continue to work towards integrating sustainable solutions in all our processes.

Sound installation at Rock Bar, Bali

Sound installation at Rock Bar, Bali

Known as “Bali’s Most Popular Sunset Bar,” Rock Bar Bali is not just a bar, it’s a complete sensory experience. Renowned for the mastery of its bartenders, this iconic spot will captivate you with magical sunsets, vibrant music and an electrifying atmosphere.

Located at the AYANA Resort and Spa, Rock Bar Bali is perched on a 14m limestone cliff, offering a 180-degree panoramic view. Imagine the waves crashing against the rocks, the radiant sun about to dip into the Indian Ocean and Jimbaran Bay bathed in a golden light. A natural light show that will take your breath away.

This unique space is characterized by a minimalist design that seamlessly integrates an open platform into the natural formation itself. The ambient lighting of the bar, together with the sunset curtains and traditional lanterns of the fishing boats that dot the horizon, create a unique and unrepeatable atmosphere.

The combination of exclusive cocktails, exceptional views and an electrifying atmosphere created by its resident DJ and an occasional programming of world-class international artists, make this bar one of the best in the world in its category.

MONDO-DR.

The distributor Melodia, together with its partner AV Sontastic, were the companies in charge of ensuring the correct distribution and calibration of the sound throughout the area using the most suitable coatings. The installation was a challenge given the exceptional conditions of the open-air site, extended along the edge of a cliff 14 metres above sea level.

Given the particularities of the installation, Melodia and Sontastic decided to install all sound systems in a weatherproof version, an option offered by Lynx Pro Audio for extreme installations of this type, where venues need special protection designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, such as sunlight, salt and water.

Eight WCX-8 compact speakers have been installed along the bar, a versatile and modular two-way coaxial enclosure designed for outdoor applications. It has an 8″ coaxial speaker offering a 70º conical dispersion coverage and a power of 300 W AES. As reinforcement for different areas, 7 two-way HR-1596/7 enclosures have been installed, a full-range system with a power of 700 W AES. It has a wide coverage of 90×60º and a passive/bi-amplified selector, mounting a 15″ speaker together with a 1.4″ driver and a rotatable horn that allows you to choose the most suitable coverage angle according to the installation.

To reinforce the low frequencies, three HR-218/12 high-performance passive subwoofers have been installed, with two 18″ speakers in direct radiation low-reflex configuration.

With omnidirectional coverage and 1200W AES power, the weatherproof products have specific features for greater outdoor durability and to withstand harsher weather conditions: anodized aluminum logo for better durability, stainless steel grill also available in aluminum with protective coating and micro-textured paint, weather tape edges, acustex filter to prevent water and external elements from penetrating, 35 ppi acoustic foam to prevent dust particles from affecting internal components, waterproof cone protected on both sides, aluminum back plate with pressure gland for extra tight connection and stainless steel screws.

To amplify the sound, five Lynx Pro Audio TS series amplifiers have been installed on the south and north sides of the venue. These are high performance 4 channel mid/high power power amplifiers dedicated to the installation market capable of meeting the requirements of any installation from 300 to 2500W. Sontastic said: “A well designed audio system should cater to a variety of musical preferences.

Rock Bar Bali, nominated as one of the best hotel bars in the world, it is distinguished by its exclusivity and exceptional atmosphere, positioning it as an incomparable oasis.

“ICE Awards 2023” have been held at Rose Court Events, in London (UK), organised by Team JLL company. The event was held at Rose Court Events, a large venue designed for a wide range of events, in London. JLL team was in charge of providing the technical solution for the awards: such as the set & stage design, lighting and, of couse, sound reinforcement. They have decided to trust once again the BS cabinets from Lynx Pro Audio for this event.

BS series have been designed to offer an affordable yet reliable series of cabinets which not only deliver high performance but have a sleek & attractive design and finish so that they not only sound great but also look impressive in any install. BS-8 is a compact, two-way passive cabinet. Consists of a 8” (2” voice coil) LF transducer and a 1” HF driver mounted on a 90º x 60º rotatable horn offering a wide range of applications from fixed installations, frontfill and as a stage monitor. The cabinet can be complemented by BS-118 subwoofers, offering tremendous sound and clarity over short/mid distances.

The BS-118 is a compact, passive subwoofer cabinet designed to extend low frequency support to the four BS Series full range cabinets. The 18” (3” voice coil) driver offers high power handling and high sensitivity with low distortion and ultra low air noise. The cone is waterproof, has been treated on both sides and has been optimized for direct radiation subwoofer applications.

ICE Awards 2023 were driven for the events industry, who are witnessing significant changes in marketing organisations and technology-driven changes within events. Events remain the most emotional marketing channel with immense business potential.

#AVR23 Road Show in Lynx Pro Audio’s headquarters

#AVR23 Road Show in Lynx Pro Audio’s headquarters

In mid-June, the #AVR23 Road Show organized by NEEC Iberia was held at our headquarters in Valencia, together with the brands SHARP, Vogels and Cactus Signage.

The Road Show, which has several stops planned in Spain and Portugal, is a unique opportunity to meet brands that offer different solutions within the AV industry, including Lynx Pro Audio brand products. It is a meeting, networking and product exhibition space.

In Valencia, attendees were able to enjoy in-house demonstrations of the most popular Lynx Pro Audio equipment, including some brand new systems that will come out soon. They were also able to visit the anechoic room, where the measurements of all the systems are carried out with high quality standards.

The event, which began at 9:30 a.m., lasted until 5 p.m. Attendees had the opportunity to sign up in two shifts and enjoy a varied breakfast or lunch (with paella included, of course).

Lynx Pro Audio installation nominated for the Mondo Awards 2023

Lynx Pro Audio installation nominated for the Mondo Awards 2023

We are proud to announce that Lynx Pro Audio’s installation at “La Diva” has been nominated for the Mondo*dr Awards 2023 in the “Restaurant” category.

The Mondo*dr Awards 2023 will be held on June 16th at Infocomm, Orlando. These awards are well-known in the technology & entertainment industry thanks to its organizer: Mondo*dr magazine.

“La Diva”has been selected as one of the entries for this year’s awards. This is one of the most chic restaurants in Valencia, which opened its doors just over a year ago and is located near Calle Colón, the city’s shopping hub.

In this restaurant, the sound system is key, since it not only uses ambient music to complete the diners’ experience, but at night the restaurant is transformed into a nightclub, so it needs versatile and powerful equipment capable of working in both environments.

In La Diva, small QB-5 installation enclosures have been installed, painted in different RAL colours to blend in with the decoration and not damage the setting. They have been placed in areas such as the bathrooms, the entrance and the bar area to offer a reinforcement for background music.

The dancefloor is covered by a powerful installation of HR-1596/7, HR-8 and BS-12 enclosures. The HR-15 and HR-8 are found surrounding the entire main room, in white and gold, and the BS-12 are the sound reinforcement in the DJ booth.
