Lynx Pro Audio attended ISE 2022 between 10th – 13th May, the most important A&V trade fair in the world. Held in early February for the third time in Barcelona, this year’s ISE has established itself as the event we all hold in our memories: without restrictions, lively and with plenty of networking.
We are growing steadily, and once again we have had a slightly larger stand than the previous year. This edition we have introduced a whole range of products that will be available in the not too distant future, including new amplifiers, processors and enclosures.
ISE 2023 has been a perfect opportunity to reconnect with many of our customers. This time we had visitors from all over the world, as a result of the opening of many countries and the end of restrictions. We noticed that the interest in Lynx Pro Audio keeps on growing. We have seen a lot of new faces at our stand and a lot of interest in our products.
At the same time, the new partnership agreement between Lynx Pro Audio and NEEC IBERIA started officially during the trade fair, boosting the distribution of Lynx Pro Audio products in Spain and Portugal.
What’s new
Lynx Pro Audio brings new developments in acoustics, electronics, signal processing, etc.
GTX amplifiers, ideal for touring
The new GTX amplifiers are 4-channel, extremely high power level amplifiers designed to withstand the rough requirements of the touring market. With outstanding, high efficiency, these amplifiers have been equipped with a quality FIR-DSP with high performance 96kHz DSP processing and a large IPS display with a touch panel user interface. 4 different models are available, from 5000 W up to 20000 W.
Advanced Audio Power Control Management has been implemented in the design of the GTX series. This enables the user to configure the division of power between the channels via the DSP enabling them to obtain maximum power through just one single channel if desired. Optional Networking (AES67) and AES3 Digital inputs are also available.
CPS, new coaxial point source system
In terms of acoustics, the new CPS point source system stands out. There is one full range cabinet available, CPS-214 together with one sub-bass unit, CPS-18S. The CPS (Coaxial Point Source) Series is our brand new high power, point source system, that will be available shortly.
Fot the top, we have the CPS-214 enclosure, an extremely compact & powerful 3-way, self-powered (6000 W Class-D with PFC), DSP integrated coaxial point source element. With dual high power 14″ neodymium transducers and a unique 2″ Exit throat (HF 1.75″ voice coil/ MF 3.5″ voice coil) coaxial neodymium compression driver. For the low frequencies, each CPS-18S is a sub-bass element designed to be used in unison with the coaxial CPS-214 point source module. This is a compact & extremely powerful, self-powered (3000 W Class-D with PFC), DSP integrated subwoofer unit in band pass configuration, with a 18″ (4″ voice coil) neodymium transducer.
Total system control is also achieved through our 3D prediction software (Rainbow 3D) working together with our remote system management platform (OCS). These cutting edge softwares together with the CPS technology provides the most optimum and precise listening experience to every ear in the audience.
Luka series: a new generation of processors
Lynx Pro Audio has unveiled its future LUKA series, a range of 3 models that represent Lynx Pro Audio’s technology and are the successor to the ARK processors. Luka will offer units with 2 AES3 inputs; 2 or 4 analogue inputs and up to 8 outputs. The new LUKA processors will be available after the summer.
