Last November 3 took place the Road Fighting Championship (Road FC), a South Korean championship based on mixed martial arts (MMA). This year the event was held in the South Korean city of Daejun, specifically in the Daejeon Chungmu Gymnasium (충무 충무 체육관), making 12 combats for the Road FC 50.

In the event, the powerful GXR line array sound systems were used to be able to transmit the fights, the music, the explanations of the commentators and the passion of the moment with greater clarity. In this way, better sound quality can be guaranteed throughout the venue. The company in charge of installing the GXR systems has been Soundphile, the official distributor of Lynx Pro Audio in South Korea.

While the combats in the octagon followed one another, several GXR-LA10A systems and GRR-D18A subwoofers were flown around. The audio equipment of this series has all the power levels and the benefits of a first class system, being a perfect solution for any kind of installation project and as well as versatile, practical and reliable.

The GXR-LA10A system is a compact and self-powered class D line-array enclosure. It is equipped with two 10″ speakers (coil 2″) and a 1.4″ output compression driver coupled to a waveguide offering 100ºH x 10ºV coverage. This cabinet offers a very easy to use rigging hardware. It’s designed to plug and play.

This system has the option of being followed by a subwoofer of the same series, in this case the GXR-D18A. This subwoofer has been designed as a complement to the line array units when extreme low frequencies are required. It is a bi-amplified class D enclosure that delivers high power levels (134dB) and two 18 “speakers (4” coil). In addition, it does not require external amplification racks.

The Road FC has been held 38 times since 2010, with a total of 456 MMA bouts in South Korea, Japan and China. More than 300 athletes from around the world have signed contracts with Road FC. These events are broadcast in more than 50 countries, on 12 television channels and on streaming platforms such as YouTube.

During mid August the Wonderland Festival was held in Cologne, Germany. More than 10,000 people gathered in 8,000 square meters in the heart of Cologne to enjoy this EDM, house & techno music festival. The aesthetic of the festival is based on the story of Alice in Wonderland. In fact, the head of the festival is Cheshire, the crazy cat with an enigmatic smile.

The festival was held on Friday from 4 pm to 12 am, and on Saturday from 12 pm to 12 am on the bank of the Rhine river in Cologne. According to the organizers to get to the festival it was only necessary to follow the river Rhine and the sound of music, which could be heard kilometers away.

Lynx Pro Audio gave life to the event by placing its professional audio systems on the main stage: Future Stage. 8 LX-V12 had been placed by each side of the stage and 16 LX-318C systems at the FOH. Besides, 2 LX-218S cabinets and 4 additional LX-F6 by side were used as stage monitors.

LX Series have been designed as versatile line arrays, offering high levels of SPL and sound clarity with un unbeatable set-up time. Line array topology is employed to create cylindrical radiation, increasing throw and achieving a precise control of both horizontal and vertical dispersion. LX-V12 and LX-F6 are full range cabinets whilst the LX-318C and LX-218S are the sub-bass option, with an exceptional power to size ratio and with easy rigging options.

On Friday 17th the Mad Stage featured artists from Berlin. These are some of the artists who performed: Plastik Funk, Steve Norton, Timbo, Hendrixen and Nor.me. On Saturday 18th, Chris di Perri, Nela, Con Tacto, Van Siegertstein, Binto & Henny, Schaeng and Edmond Windfield performed.

During Saturday 18th at the Future Stage, the main stage of the festival. In this stage performed the following world recognised EDM artists: Firebeatz, Le Shuuk, Switch Off, Tiefblau, Fabian Farell and Danth. Some of these DJ’s have performed at festivals of great international fame, such as the World Club Dome.

Oh La La Music & Bar is a nightclub in the center of Albacete (Spain), on Concepción Street, the party and bustle area of ​​Albacete. In this area there are many bars where you can have a snack and a drink and places with music and a festive atmosphere.

In the afternoon, this bars offer tapas and also have special menus for events such as birthdays or farewells. When the night comes, these bars transform into nightclubs with a festive mood, music and a wide variety of drinks.

Elemtec has been responsible for bringing Lynx Pro Audio systems to this venue in Albacete. For this installation several cabinets of the HR series have been used, which are designed specially for clubs and bars. This family of speakers consists of 10 enclosures with two-way full-range systems and four sub-bass. All of them clear and efficient; ensuring less distortion while providing an excellent sound performance.

Specifically, 12 speakers of the HR-26 series, two HR-18/6 subwoofers and two HR-218/12 have been installed.The HR-26 is an ultra-compact, high-performance two-way enclosure with a bi-amp passive cabinet. The HR-18/6 is a medium-power sub-bass cabinet with one 18″ low frequency in bass reflex and direct radiation configuration, as well as the HR-218/12. The difference is the rated power between cabinets. 

An ARK-2024 processor and two amplifiers have also been incorporated: RS4-4000. The ARK-2024 is a last generation processor designed and manufactured by Lynx Pro Audio, which offers an easy configuration and provides the best sound at fixed installations. The processor ARK-2024 belongs to the family of ARK-20, which offer seven models with 2 or 4 inputs and up to 8 outputs.

The RS amplifiers, thanks to the latest technological advances in assembly, represents the best compromise between economy and performance. These amplifiers are designed for professionals that are looking for quality, reliability and value.

RS Series amps are Class H and offer unmatched audio quality. Gabanna Copas-Bar is a mix between a pub and a cafeteria located in Albacete. Gabanna offers drinks, tapas and national, latin and pop-rock music. The famous Spanish singer Pablo Alborán performed last April 17th in Montevideo, Uruguay. The concert was held at the Summer Theatre “Ramón Collazo”, one of the most important entertainment venues in the city, for its location and unique architecture.

Montevideo was one of the stops of the “Tour Prometo 2018” of Pablo Alborán, a tour that has been carried out through several Latin America countries, as well as Spain since February. This tour has been one of the most wanted of the hispanic music scene, since the Singer has a large number of followers in Spanish-speaking countries.

Lynx Pro Audio was present thanks to the technical team of Gánzua CPMU, who were in charge of assembling the different audio systems in the stage. Specifically, Juan Lujambio has been the engineer in charge of assembling the different systems they used to sound the stage.

  • The main system contains a line of 24 LX-V12 cabinets, placing 12 on each side of the stage; 12 LX-318C making a physical bow and 3 LX-318C flown in the center of the stage.
  • Three LX-V12 have been placed in the front fill system, while 12 LX-V8 have been placed in the outfill system, 6 on one side and 6 on the other.
  • 8 LX-V8 (4 per side) and 4 LX-218s (2 per side) have been used for the sidefill system.

The sound system has been placed like this to offer the best sound experience to the viewers. High performance auto-amplified line array with integrated DSP have been used. These array belong to the LX-Series, developed specially for management teams, concert halls, auditoriums, outdoor events and large stadiums.

The stage “Ramón Collazo” has two advantages that make it an ideal setting for shows: thanks to its architectural form the stage can be seen well from any location and the inner cone shape that has been reformed provides greater technical and acoustic possibilities.

In the show, Pablo Alborán has performed the songs of his fourth studio album “Prometo”, which was released on November 17th. Three years have passed since his last tour and “Prometo 2018” has generated great expectations.
