Morat made his appearance for the first time in Uruguay at the Montevideo Summer Theater. There are many concerts of national and international artists. This one was organized by the technical team of Ganzúa Producciones and their sound technicians choose Lynx Pro Audio’s professional audio systems.
For the main PA, 16 LX-V12 were flown on each side of the stage. As side fill, 6 LX-V8 and 2 LX-218S were placed on each side. For the down fill,8 LX-V8 were flown for each side.
LX-V12 is an extremely high power, self-powered Class D with PFC (Power Factor Correction), three-way line array. Dual LF 12” (4” interleaved sandwich voice coil) neodymium woofers with double demodulating rings, Four MF 6.5” transducers with glass fiber cones & ultra-light voice coil and two HF 1.4” neodymium magnet drivers with titanium diaphragm and individual high precision wave guide. On the other hand, LX-V8 is a compact self-powered (Class D switch mode power supply) V-Configuration front loaded, two-way Line Array, dual 8″ neodymium transducers with nomex cones and two 1″ neodymium magnet drivers with titanium diaphragm and individual wave guide.
The main subwoofer area has 16 LX-318C and 2 LX-218S. The LX-318C is an extremely high power cardioid subwoofer.Consists of three 18″ (5″ voice coil) low frequency neodymium transducers with Double Silicon Spider (DSS) technology and reinforced cones with carbon fiber (2 frontal + 1 rear). As for the LX-218S this is a high power, self-powered (Class D switch mode power supply) front loaded subwoofer with two 18″ (4″ voice coil) low frequency neodymium transducers.
Morat made his leap to fame thanks to his song Como te atreves, which was ranked number one in Spain and from there he made the leap to the rest of Latin America.

Cristina Cerdeira is a Media Marketing Profesional that is ready to give it her all on this new project. “I know that being here is a challenge, a place to test everything I have learned and, of course grow the company. Cristina is a Journalist Graduate from the University of Valencia, with training in Digital Marketing from the University of Alicante. She posses multiple professional design skills and comes with a positive mindset, full of energy and ideas: “I’m very excited about joining Lynx Pro Audio and am grateful for this opportunity to further develop my skills”.

This is good news for all install sound companies. The HR series is being upgraded with two new install cabinets, the ultra compact HR-6 and HR-8.
Recently presented at ISE Amsterdam 2018 these new cabinets offer a very compact design delivering superior reliability and sonic performance. These units are passive, two way and full range. Pure install cabinets ideal for a wide range of applications.
The HR-6 is an ultra compact unit of just 7.5 Kg (30 cm high). This install box offer a 6.5” speaker with 2” voice coil (impedance 16 ohm) and a 1” HF Mylar tweeter, offering a frequency response from 88Hz to 18 KHz. This small cabinet provides a wide dispersion of 90º x 90º (119 dB / 200W).
The HR-8 is a very compact unit with a 8” neodymium speaker, 2” aluminium voice coil (impedance 8 ohms). For the HF the cabinet offers a 1” compression driver with 1.75” aluminium voice coil (polyester diaphragm) offering a frequency response from 78 Hz to 18KHz. This compact enclosure delivers 125 dB / 300W, and offers a rotatable horn of 90º x 60º.
Both enclosures are made with 15mm premium birch plywood finished with high resistant Polyurea coating. For connection they offer 2 Neutrik speakon NL4MP and there is an option with 4 terminal blocks (7.62 mm between pins).
The HR-6 and HR-8 are specially designed as versatile cabinets for clubs and bars, mutimedia spaces, theatres, houses of worship, hotels, public buildings and all kind of install sound projects. These brand new models will be available on May and the complete first series are already sold.
ISE Amsterdam took place on 6-9 February and Lynx Pro Audio was there exhibiting a wide range of sound systems, including three new installation cabinets. This trade show has become the largest audiovisual meeting in Europe and one of the most important in the world, and we were able to meet a large number of professionals interested in getting to know our systems more closely.
Our booth was attended by Ben Sinclair (Sales Director) and Jesús Fuentes (product manager) who were able to show the complete solution package from Lynx Pro Audio. They also had the opportunity to present three new cabinets, the company’s newest options for install projects.
The new cabinets are a 5”, 6” and 8” all designed for install sound projects. The HR series is being upgraded with two new models: HR-6 and HR-8. These are new compact cabinets with superior reliability and sonic performance designed for fixed installations. Both models are passive, two way, full range. The Ionic column speakers have now a new ultra compact 5” box named IONIC-5C. This box is designed to work with our subwoofer IONIC-12S. The cabinet includes a 5” coaxial speaker and can be powered from the subwoofer unit. We are really excited about these new models and are receiving the first orders now.
During November 21, 22 and 23 we were in Madrid exhibiting at the BITAM show, one of the meeting points of the audiovisual industry in Spain.
The fair was attended by Ben Sinclair (Sales Director) and Jesús Fuentes (product manager), who were sharing ideas and projects with all the visitors who came to our booth during the three days of the event.
Lynx Pro Audio introduced the new GXR-LA10A Compact Line Array along with a selection of our full product range. Among the products exhibited were the different solutions provided by Lynx Pro Audio for the installation market, such as column loudspeakers, self-amplified systems with constant curvature, passive fixed installation equipment, compact self-powered systems and the new compact line array GXR-LA10A , an ideal system for all types of projects. This system is based on a self-amplified enclosure with class D with two ways equipped with two 10 “speakers (coil 2”) and a 1.4 “driver coupled to a waveguide (100 ° H x 10 ° V). The enclosure is Bi-amplified and offers high levels of power from a very compact format. With this line array enclosure, two subwoofer possibilities are offered. Another system that is very present in all types of installations is our CXA series, the best option of great coverage with the minimum possible equipment, a compact array solution that also has a very good output as touring equipment.
