Seo-gu Healing Art Festival in Daejeon, South Korea

Seo-gu Healing Art Festival is held during three days in May in Daejeon, South Korea. It has a huge stage for the many shows that take place during the festival. A lot of people attend this event so powerful sound is needed in stage.

That’s the reason Soundphile, our official korean distributor, has chosen the GXR series line arrays and subwoofers. The combination of the GXR-LA10A hanging on both sides of the stage with GXR-D15A and GXR-D18A for the low frequencies reinforcement, make a really powerful combo.

The GXR-LA10A is a self-powered, bi-amplified, two-way, class D enclosure that delivers high power levels from a very compact format. This system is very easy to use and control without the need for any external amps.

To extend the low frequency response, the GXR-D15A is the cabinet designed to be flown or stacked in perfect combination with the GXR-LA10A units. And when extreme low frequencies are required, GXR-D18A is recommended.

The system has been designed to be simple to install/use and every care has been taken to incorporate easy rigging hardware, that’s why it’s a perfect solution for touring and stage performances.

This festival displays the recent trends and is a festival with various art and culture programs. The major programs are Healing Art Market, Art Tree, and Art Light Tunnel. At the Art Market operated by artists from all over the nation, visitors can see and buy various artworks. The Art Tree and Art Light Tunnel, with the participation of corporations, agencies, and hospitals, bring fabulous attractions to the visitors.

Road Fighting Championship in Daejeun, South Korea

Last November 3 took place the Road Fighting Championship (Road FC), a South Korean championship based on mixed martial arts (MMA). This year the event was held in the South Korean city of Daejun, specifically in the Daejeon Chungmu Gymnasium (충무 충무 체육관), making 12 combats for the Road FC 50.

In the event, the powerful GXR line array sound systems were used to be able to transmit the fights, the music, the explanations of the commentators and the passion of the moment with greater clarity. In this way, better sound quality can be guaranteed throughout the venue. The company in charge of installing the GXR systems has been Soundphile, the official distributor of Lynx Pro Audio in South Korea.

While the combats in the octagon followed one another, several GXR-LA10A systems and GRR-D18A subwoofers were flown around. The audio equipment of this series has all the power levels and the benefits of a first class system, being a perfect solution for any kind of installation project and as well as versatile, practical and reliable.

The GXR-LA10A system is a compact and self-powered class D line-array enclosure. It is equipped with two 10″ speakers (coil 2″) and a 1.4″ output compression driver coupled to a waveguide offering 100ºH x 10ºV coverage. This cabinet offers a very easy to use rigging hardware. It’s designed to plug and play.

This system has the option of being followed by a subwoofer of the same series, in this case the GXR-D18A. This subwoofer has been designed as a complement to the line array units when extreme low frequencies are required. It is a bi-amplified class D enclosure that delivers high power levels (134dB) and two 18 “speakers (4” coil). In addition, it does not require external amplification racks.

The Road FC has been held 38 times since 2010, with a total of 456 MMA bouts in South Korea, Japan and China. More than 300 athletes from around the world have signed contracts with Road FC. These events are broadcast in more than 50 countries, on 12 television channels and on streaming platforms such as YouTube.

‘Sheila on 7’ on Lynx Pro Audio’s GXR series

Last 14th of October the famous band Sheila on 7 performed at Jatim Fair 2018 in Surabaya, Indonesia. The main stage was equipped with Lynx Pro Audio’s professional sound systems provided by Melodia Production, the main distributor of Lynx Pro Audio in Indonesia.

Rudy Winarto, the CEO of Melodia Production had the chance to speak with Eross Candra, the guitarrist and leader of the group, after the performance at Jatim Fair stage with our Lynx Pro Audio systems.

Candra stated: “I found the whole GXR system, especially the GXR-12 monitor amazing. There was such detail in the frequency range that I could clearly hear my own guitar as well as the vocals and other instruments. I have never experienced that before from other systems and enjoyed using it very much”.

Sheila on 7 is an alternative rock band from Yogyakarta (Indonesia) that has been performing since 1996. They have launched eight studio albums with high impact and have been nominated and awarded several times at Indonesian Music Awards, Indonesian Choice Awards and more. They have more than 456.000 followers on Instagram and 182.000 on Facebook.

This 6 day anual event was held at the Grand City Mall & Convex Surabaya from 9th October to 14th October 2018. Jatim Fair showcases products like handmade jewelry, home decor, clothing, body care products, glass art or gourmet treats.

Morat made his appearance for the first time in Uruguay at the Montevideo Summer Theater. There are many concerts of national and international artists. This one was organized by the technical team of Ganzúa Producciones and their sound technicians choose Lynx Pro Audio’s professional audio systems.

For the main PA, 16 LX-V12 were flown on each side of the stage. As side fill, 6 LX-V8 and 2 LX-218S were placed on each side. For the down fill, 8 LX-V8 were flown for each side.

LX-V12 is an extremely high power, self-powered Class D with PFC (Power Factor Correction), three-way line array. Dual LF 12” (4” interleaved sandwich voice coil) neodymium woofers with double demodulating rings, Four MF 6.5” transducers with glass fiber cones & ultra-light voice coil and two HF 1.4” neodymium magnet drivers with titanium diaphragm and individual high precision wave guide. On the other hand, LX-V8 is a compact self-powered (Class D switch mode power supply) V-Configuration front loaded, two-way Line Array, dual 8″ neodymium transducers with nomex cones and two 1″ neodymium magnet drivers with titanium diaphragm and individual wave guide.

The main subwoofer area has 16 LX-318C and 2 LX-218S. The LX-318C is an extremely high power cardioid subwoofer. Consists of three 18″ (5″ voice coil) low frequency neodymium transducers with Double Silicon Spider (DSS) technology and reinforced cones with carbon fiber (2 frontal + 1 rear). As for the LX-218S this is a high power, self-powered (Class D switch mode power supply) front loaded subwoofer with two 18″ (4″ voice coil) low frequency neodymium transducers.

Morat made his leap to fame thanks to his song Como te atreves, which was ranked number one in Spain and from there he made the leap to the rest of Latin America.

Morat is a Latin pop group from Colombia that was born in 2015. It has four members and they are around 22 years old. Paulina Rubio discovered them and offered them to record an album.
